Itinerary

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you are welcomed by a representative and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. As you settle in, the city’s lively atmosphere, filled with ancient temples, buzzing marketplaces, and the distant backdrop of the Himalayas creates a perfect introduction to your journey.

In the evening, you may stroll around Thamel, where cafés, handicraft shops, and traditional restaurants offer a relaxing way to unwind after your flight. Your guide provides a short briefing about the upcoming tour.

Today begins with visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, starting with Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine. The tour continues to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in South Asia, where the peaceful spinning of prayer wheels fills the air.

In the afternoon, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), gaining deeper insight into Nepal’s architecture, spirituality, and history. The blend of Buddhist and Hindu traditions provides a captivating cultural foundation for the tour ahead.

The flight from Kathmandu to Paro is a spectacular experience, offering sweeping views of the Eastern Himalayas, including Everest, Lhotse, and Kanchenjunga. Upon landing, you feel the tranquility and freshness of Bhutan’s air.

After clearing immigration, drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. Explore its calm streets, traditional architecture, and artisan shops before settling in for the night.

Begin the day with visits to the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and the Takin Reserve to learn about Bhutan’s national animal. Continue to the Folk Heritage Museum and Craft Bazaar to explore Bhutanese culture and craftsmanship.

In the afternoon, visit Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress serving as the king’s administrative office. The quietness of the valley combined with monastery chants creates an unforgettable cultural immersion.

Today’s hike takes you to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched dramatically on the side of a cliff. The climb ascends gradually through pine forests, prayer flags, and scenic viewpoints, offering breathtaking views of the Paro Valley.

Reaching the monastery is a moving experience, its spiritual power, dramatic location, and centuries-old murals make it one of the most memorable sites in the Himalayas. Return to Paro for a relaxing final evening.

Transfer to Paro Airport for your scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you may explore the city further or connect to your international flight.
